“Everything was as advertised, and it was a really good idea to go early in the morning. It was easy to find the spot to meet our guides, they were there earlier with coffee. There are two big churches near each other, but only one is the cathedral, that might’ve caused another reviewer some confusion. The day was great, the pace was nice. We didn’t feel rushed or bored and the family meal and cenote was a highlight of the experience. Our guide was enthusiastic provided various details at the sites and was open to answering any questions that came up from the group.”

“Great tour. Good amount of time at each location. Buffet was surprisingly delicious! Centre steps were a little treacherous, but everyone seemed to handle them fine :) Longer day than advertised though. Says 10 hours, but is a full 12 hour day, so be mindful in case of evening plans. Main downside was that cenote entrance isn’t actually covered. You have to pay extra to go in the cenote, though they frame it as a “mandatory life jacket” fee.”

“We had so much fun while learning about the culture and the food. We loved going to the market to buy everything we needed. Zulma was fantastic and shared so much information about history and food. Cooking at a local’s home made the experience that much more authentic. She taught us a lot and was very warm and made us laugh. And the food was delicious! It was the best day of our trip. Highly recommend this experience.”

“The tour picked us up at our hotel. We were told we would be picked up between 8:10 and 8:40 but the pick-up was 15 minutes late. Uxmal is an amazing site and you could really spend 4-6 hours there with an expert guide. Our guide, Emilio (aka "Pájaro), was very kind and sweet. He shared some information about Uxmal but not deep background. If you want that, this is not the tour for you. Uxmal is not overrun with visitors like Chichén Itzá and it's setting feels more lush. Lots of iguanas! Kabah is a fantastic site. Really gorgeous! Hardly any visitors there. Lunch was good but the cenote…”
