“You need to be able to swim and traverse the uneven paths. The ruins have many steps, some of it is ok for a scooter, but walking is involved. At the beach a boat will take you out to a destination and drop you off. A person SHOULD know how to swim even though life jackets are provided. You are not allowed to use fins/flippers. The swimming portion is a smaller group than other companies so you are able to enjoy seeing the turtles w/o fear of being kicked by others. The lunch is very good. It was fresh and delicious for our taste. Sophia and Edgar were excellent hosts.”

“A brilliant day of Mayan history at the unique Tulum site. This was followed by a short trip to Canamayte Cenote and eco park. “This is the honest review you’re looking for. The cenotes themselves were really pretty and exciting - but don’t be fooled it’s not an intimate group of less than 12 as promised. Once you get to the cenotes you merge with 5 other groups and then your now group of 50 are herded together like cattle in a single file line through the cenotes while the Mexican tour guide shouts instructions at you. “It was a nice experience. I had to reschedule in less than 24 hours due to a medical issue and this was done without a problem. Communication about this was good, although we had a difficult time finding our meeting place. Alejandro our guide was friendly, thorough in explaining what to do around the turtles and patient with the group. We saw several turtles, although the water was a bit murky. I would have liked a little more time by the coral and the fish that were there. In addition to the turtles we saw a gray stingray and an eagle stingray. A beautiful animal.”
