“Fun trip to beautiful lagoon and cenotes. Fun staff and guide. Generous snacks, sodas, beer and tequila. Played volleyball in the water and our guide "made us" take a tequila shot if we missed. Very mindful of the time to get us back to the ship. Guide filled the drive time with lots of local history and stories. Tacos at the restaurant was excellent.”

“We did this as a self-booked excursion during a cruise. The instructions were easy to follow as far as how to get a cab and where to direct them to go (and what it should cost). We arrived a bit before the excursion time and browsed some of the nearby shops. When it was time for our tour, the other party/parties were no-shows and we ended up with a private tour. Had to ask directions to get out of costa maya (of course), nice ac bus took us to the ruins. Our guide, frank, was knowledgeable and funny. The whole tour company is owned and operated by locals which i prefer to support instead of big corporations (carnival). After the ruins we had snacks on the bus (I had Mexican beer and chipotle Fritos-so good!) while going to a fruit stand for the best pineapple and mango I have ever had in my life!! “The taxi system at the port is horrible! So with that being said we were late to the beach to get to our excursion. We had to wait almost an hour for the next boat before we could go but it was certainly worth the wait. My daughter and I got to by ourselves. It was just the 2 of us with the 2 guides! We got to see lots of fish and coral underwater. The guides were so friendly, so helpful, and kind. We had a great time!”

“Brie and David were extremely caring and accommodating. I have a tendency to get motion sickness. Brie made sure that I was ok and was checking on me the whole time. I was able to see the beautiful reef, different types of fish, spotted stingray, and a turtle. Guacamole was very tasty 😋. “The local tour company waited for the other tourists that they collected from other locations (not from ship). We waited for almost 2 hours before our bus arrived, loaded the additional passengers, and left. It took an hour drive to the Chaccohoben Mayan ruins. The bus was full and the temperature inside the bus was 33C. It took 30 min for the AC to work but only dropped to 26C 30 min later and stayed that way. The tour is supposed to take 5 hours but since we already lost 2 hours (waiting for other tourists), we canceled the Beach part where we were supposed to have lunch and traveled…”
