“If price isn’t an issue, the whole experience is absolutely worth it, and booking with the company takes care of all the logistical concerns, such as transportation and explanation of the activities available. Even with just the basic package, there’s a huge variety of activities available, such as the underground river, the snorkeling in the inlet, the Mayan village, the aviary, butterfly garden, and much much more. On top of that, the buffet food offered is really good. The other add-ons are really nice too, but the price will jump significantly if that’s an issue. “The boat ride there, sets it up. You get to this culturally immersive area an hour from port and are greeted by the hosts. Then you prepare for the best show ever. Dancing, acrobatics, and storytelling. Then you are directed to authentic food for dinner and drinks in a super nice setting. Finally a boat ride back to port with entertainment. If you come here to this area in Mexico, you have to make sure you see it, as you wont regret it.”

“As American tourists we were originally skeptical as the neighborhood around the venue is a little sketchy but gave it a shot. The tour guide is very communicative and speaks English well. We took a uber to the taco venue, ate tacos and had a few drinks together as group then walked the one block to the venue. The entire area is full of tourists and police, extremely safe. Once inside she showed us around, got a waiter to get us some beers and we had a great time. We did uber out of the venue just before it ended to beat the rush and there were plenty available.
