“The trip was good. Due the wind direction, we could not fly over the Teotihuacan pyramids, but we got to fly in a balloon. “Our experience was mixed. The balloon ride itself was amazing and we could not fault the ride itself. The views were fantastic and it was a really special experience. Unfortunately the organisation of the day really let the experience down for the following reasons. 1. We had to leave at 5am to wait 2.5hrs in the freezing cold. This was really frustrating for the whole group, everyone was uncomfortably cold and tired. 2. After the balloon ride the sparking wine toast was actually just sparking apple juice… 3. It appeared to be because the company was incredibly disorganized. This was not the fault of the guide however we missed so much at the ruins and feel it could have been a much better experience.
